We have laid a 2-inch thick DPC. When we start construction work above the DPC, the first thing we will use is a membrane sheet.
This is the sheet that we apply directly on top of the DPC. On the back side of the sheet, there is a sticker which needs to be peeled off, and then the sheet is pasted onto the DPC surface.
Where is DPC Not Applied?
DPC is not applied where doors or door frames (chaukhat) will be installed.
Wherever doors are to be placed, you will not see DPC. The reason behind this is that the rough floor level should remain below the door frame, so that the door frame sits completely within the rough floor, and moisture or seepage does not reach the wood.
Why Do We Use Plastic on the Sides?
You will notice plastic sheets on both sides of the walls. If your plot is attached to an existing house, it is very important to install plastic sheets. This helps to prevent moisture transfer into the neighbor’s walls and avoids any future disputes or damage.
Brick Quality
From day one, we use only A-Plus quality bricks. You can judge the quality of our bricks yourself. If you strike two bricks together, their sound and color will immediately tell you how strong and high-quality they are.
